Mrs. O in Marc Jacobs

Photo by Aidan Crawley / Getty Images

A gusty day in Dublin gives us a better view of Mrs. O's dress! The First Lady wears a Silk Circle Jacquard Dress by Marc Jacobs in a marigold and berry retro geometric print. The dress hails from the designer's Spring 2011 collection.

After a trip to the village of Moneygall, the President and First Lady were back in Dublin to address a crowd at Trinity College.

I loved the dress better when I got a better view. I can't wait for the visit to England to see FLOTUS and the Queen again.

By the way, MRSO, ignore the criticism. You have always done and you continue to do a great job.

1970s chic! loved this collection so much, so happy she has worn something from it. What about the silk trench coat though? Possibly Lanvin? I looked through Net-a-Porter to possibly identify it but I couldn't. Once again, as you all know, I hope she wears Prada S/S 2011 that would just be a dream come true!! I wonder if she is going to France as well? I don't think so but I hope so!

The trench coat is beautiful! Any ideas who the designer might be?

Now this is how a first lady should dress(with class), Mrs.O should come to Europe more often :-)

I hope she starts using Ikram again to buy her clothes, because I am not feeling this dress.

We previously saw the Obama's meeting two lovely ladies--the Prime Minister of Ireland and the President of Ireland. Does anyone know why there is both a prime minister AND a president? Just curious.

Love this dress. And despite all the travel today, Mrs. Obama just got off the plane in London looking STUNNING. Gorgeous ensemble, looked like a royal purple skirt and short jacket with a print blouse. Beautiful earrings. Can't wait to see photos!

Lovely! I can't believe she's wearing flats and still manages to look so elegant! Take notes ladies!

I love the blue Mrs. O wore when getting off the plane arriving at Stansted Airport.

Flotus looking very regal departing Dublin and arriving in London, she is wearing a stunning royal blue suit according to my computer monitor.

I was curious about Ireland having a Prime Minister and a President as well
Upon further research I found that

The Taoiseach is the head of government or prime minister of Ireland. The Taoiseach is appointed by the President upon the nomination of Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Oireachtas (parliament), and must, in order to remain in office, retain the support of a majority in the Dáil.[6]
The current Taoiseach is Enda Kenny, TD who was appointed on 9 March 2011. He was recently in the US meeting with President Obama and others.

Oh Mrs. O!! I'm so sure you'll create another post for this FABULOUS BLUE SUIT that Mrs O is wearing as she and President Obama step off Air Force One as they arrive at London’s Stansted Airport.

SoccerNana, I have spent entirely too much time drooling!! over the fashions and it's only been one day! Sheesh. And imagine if the girls were there. WOW!

I also give a belated THANK YOU!!! to Posh Tater for holding it down! I love this site. Every now and then, there are a few meanies, but mostly, everyone is nice and as addicted to the fashion of it all as I am!

This is just cute; I neither like nor dislike it.

P.S. Mrs T How about "Electric Blue" as a caption for the next post on the blue suit :-)

@nora, I had named it something else, but then saw your comment ... "Electric Blue" it is!

I'm with Rory on this one: 1970s chic--with a hint of timelessness (the coat). I'm loving this look on Mrs. O. ...And there is something about a woman wearing her hair pinned up that gets me revved... So Bardot. So sexy!

Lovely people, they both have this aura that cant be denied. Love the outfit thus far, not too much. Yes the dresses and colors are beautiful, but most importantly they are such personable people, always a pleasure to behold. Love them to pieces. Mrs. O you rock!

I am VERY interested in the necklace Mrs O is wearing - if we ever pin that down I will be first in line for one. Not feeling the dress but the coat is very nice. Somehow she's still beautiful though. And weren't they just LOVELY at Moneygall? There's a lot of footage on YouTube and I'm so touched by their evident pleasure in meeting everyone and being approachable and friendly. Just wonderful.

Now I'm just gagging to see what Mrs O wears to meet the Queen for the first lunch of a State visit. Last time was just a quick casual meeting and Mrs Obama looked gorgeous, this time its SERIOUS fashion time....

Very retro chic !! The windblown coat creates such a fashionista look!

A great look for a meet-and-greet because it is simple and inviting. The trench coat does give a subtle fashionista "umph"

Love the picture - it is really cool.

Not crazy about the print in the dress or the flats but I'm crazy for this Classic American Couple
