Live! with Kelly and Michael

The first lady taped a segment for "Live! with Kelly and Michael" today, which will air this Friday on ABC. For the appearance, Mrs. O wore a floral print short-sleeve dress paired with coral heels.
Update: Mrs. O wears a Resort 2013 dress by Prabal Gurung, confirmed by the designer via Twitter.

She does look cute and that's a very pretty dress. Although I have to say that the gentleman on the right is also very cute and it took me a minute to notice the dress.

Hope y'all had a chance to see this show. As always, Mrs. O was her funny, down to earth, but oh so passionate about her husband self. She talked about the girls, her husband, and the importance of voting and VOTING EARLY(hint, hint). One of the cutest moments of the show that had ME blushing(well you know, as much as I can) was when Michael asked Mrs. O if she prefers the President in boxers or briefs. She thought about and then said, "none of them!" I damn near fell off my seat laughing. It was a really good show.
The dress is from Prabal Gurung Resort 2013. The orchid print cap-sleeve dress doesn’t appear in the look book, but the print should be instantly recognizable to you as Emma Watson wore a look from the same collection this week when she appeared on Ellen.

@ Little One, aka Nyon, my mouth fell open at that one. Even my mom said, "Oh no she didn't!" I hope I can find this episode on youtube or somewhere, I'd love to see it again. Our Michelle knows that she LOVES that man and is not shy about saying so. That was by far one of the best FLOTUS appearances in a while.
Now Miss Posh, that Michael Strahorn is indeed easy on the eyes, yes ma'am, yes ma'am! It's so difficult to focus on anything or anyone but him when the camera is rolling. I tell ya', that Nicole Murphy is one lucky woman. That is all I'm going to say about that, I think!
Onto FLOTUS fashion, the shoes really does it for me. I've read that she really favors Jimmy Choo shoes but looking at them I think they could be Kate Spade's. J Crew did a line of plain pumps in loads of colors also. They are sharp, that's for sure.

When I saw the above pic with the sweet soft peachy colours I could tell Mrs. O would be down to earth and charming on this program. I used to watch often years ago so I couldn't wait to see the show.
@ Nyon when she answered "none of the above" I keeled over laughing,
yet not surprised - this is one of her special gifts. Then remembered I loved using that answer in multiple choice questions. She relates very well with the American people from all walks of life..............showing that we have so much in common.
Another favourite, when she said she is a morning person and likes to be in bed by 9 p.m. I love that, another good example and a good time to turn in especially with excercising in the mornings, the girls etc. We are always learning from this Great Family.
Floral and 1 pce dressing is quick and EASY - great for travelling. Dress up with pumps and carry flats for a more casual look.

Fern, Nyon and Charlene....I love that we all LOVED that wonderfully candid moment that our Flotus had about the boxers. Did you see Michael just grab his chest and fall off his chair. It was priceless!! And the audience loved it too. Michelle's face was so adorable. "None of the above." She just said it so cute. I'm sure the President LOVED it too!! So refreshing to have a young, vibrant and sexy couple in the White House. They are such an example of what a healthy marriage looks like and good parenting. They're wonderful! Four more years please!

To me, the dress looks too summery. The peach pumps don't help in this regard. I love the fact that she said neither! To me, that kind of response sets her apart from previous FLOTUS. I agree with Fern that I am always learning something from this family.
I would never have guessed that the dress was by Prabal, he seems to be injecting a lot more florals in his clothes. I loved the purple dress that the duchess of Cambridge wore earlier this year. But, I love this dress, perfect for a Summer garden.
