A Big Thank You

Dear All,

We wanted to tell you a bit more about what's inside Mrs. O: The Face of Fashion Democracy and to say thank you to the vast group of people who helped to shape this book!

Beyond 120+ beautiful photographs of Mrs. O, and details on what she's wearing, here's the scoop on what else is inside the book, and who contributed:

Full Q&As: Isabel Toledo, Jason Wu, Michael Kors, Thakoon, Peter Soronen, Maria Pinto, Maria Cornejo, Jenna Lyons, Isaac Mizrahi, Kai Milla, Donna Ricco, Karen Erickson, Loree Rodkin, Booth Moore, Wendy Donahue, Robin Givhan and Andre Leon Talley

Original Quotes: Narciso Rodriguez, Rossella Jardini, Sonia Rykiel, Carole Tanenbaum, Junya Watanabe, Diane von Furstenberg, Patrick Robinson, Tamara Mellon, Carolyn Rosenberg, Karen O'Brien, Pierre Rainier, Joe Zee, Andrew Bolton, Timothy Long and Cheryl Lu-Lien Tien

Mrs-O.org Community Quotes: Ave, Nicole Robinson, Mindy Romero, Vicky Markham, Erika Peterman, Cleo, Tanner Strickland Lenart, Melinda James-Lewis, Melanie King, Julia Tanen, Gloria Scott, Daniel Pino and Stacey Burch

Original Photography: More than 35 images of clothes, shoes, belts and jewelry - the same styles worn by Mrs. O, sourced from the designers above - sent from New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Milan, Tokyo and Stockholm to be photographed for the book!

Illustrations: Elisabeth Moch, Jean-Philippe Delhomme, Francois Berthoud, Minni Havas, Mia Overgaard, Virginia Johnson, Carter Kustera, Stephen Campbell, Sirichai, David Downton

We owe heartfelt thanks to everyone listed above! And we're just getting started...

We've heard wonderful feedback about the design of the book, which was done by Rodrigo Corral Design. Rodrigo Corral and Ben Wiseman are both design geniuses!

Behind the scenes, we had a wide array of people helping. Marcia Froelke Coburn "Mrs. C" and Derek Blasberg provided critical writing support.

At BBH (my employer who has supported the blog and book from day one!) - Ben Jenkins, Travis Quinn, Sarah Dien, Molly Dowd and Viriginia Ritchie comprised a wonderful core team.

We had a fabulous agent in Eileen Cope at Trident Media, and great editors in Harry Helm and Michelle Rapkin at Hachette / Center Street.

We're still just scraping the surface here! Please see page 232 - 233 for the full list of thank yous. Without the help of so many talented people behind the designers above, this book would not be what it is.

Mrs. O: The Face of Fashion Democracy is available on Amazon, Borders and Barnes & Noble. We appreciate your support!

Thank you and hearts,

Mrs. T

P.S. A donation was made to Dress for Success on behalf of the book! This is noted on the back cover.

Yay! I can't wait to get this book, which will surely be as fabulous as the woman who inspired it.
