It was wonderful seeing the little faces in the audience, obviously so in awe of our wonderful FLOTUS. She has a way with kids, that's for sure. Did the FLOTUS trim her hair a bit more? Shorter hair but still very cute!

i really fall in love with her when she paired that Junya cardigan with the Jason Wu teal dress while in london.it was so unexpected, so outside the box, so edgy and elegant at the same time. it still is my favorite of her.a transcript will be more than welcome because us readers outside the US can not view it.
Thanks in advance.

I think she looks even better in this cardigan minus the peals that she wore in London last year, and with a shorter haircut. Love the wardrobe recycling!

She's adorable.

Excellent acceptance speech and festive looking award! That cardigan is beautiful....I want ONE!!!!! Versatility and creativity are definitely two words that stand out when it comes to her ensemble selections. JW has out done himself again!

Love the sweater she is wearing in the video...it makes her appear comfortable and relaxing...she reminds me of my first grade school teacher.

Me too, Mimi, I loved that cardigan. It conjures up images of her first trip to London. I remember the sheer hystera when the Obama's were over here. Not since Princess Diana, have the papers and media had so much fun and I for one loved every minute of it. It was great to hear the buzz around our office with men and women of all races and ages, in complete awe and adoration of the first lady.

I also like the way Mrs Obama uses her wardrobe, the cardigan is youthful and playful so it is nice to see her weearing it for Nickolodeon in the same way that she wore it for those teenage girls in London.

Mrs Obama is my favourite girl crush.

She blows my mind every time. I would love to meet her in person I don't know what I would do, I would probably freeze up and studdard every word that came out of my mouth.

She looks very pretty in the video and her message was perfect for the young audience.

Can't wait until she makes public appearances again.

She looks great. I call those sweaters of hers - her kiddie sweaters...and all the kids here that watched said her sweater was "Cool", LOL. I don't like it - but she wears it well. Love Mrs. O.

I am so curious to see what the teal dress she wore in London looks like without this sweater over top. Seems like an unusual style for her.

She is a natural at her "job." I'm so proud of her!

Mrs Obama looks lovely but she needs to sit up straight. Her posture is always slumped with rounded shoulders when she is in a sitting position.

Sweetest video EVER! FLOTUS looks so incredibly beautiful. Is it just me or is she looking younger every day?!

Love the fact that Mrs O. is a recessionista, that she can rewear her clothes over again. We all do it i believe she would do it even it it wasn't a resession. She is such a REAL PERSON.

Always loved this cardigan anyway!

Glistening shiny sequin design on cardigan, picks up the shine in her hair and make up and adds a touch of fabulous to her look. Timeless fashion, great to have. Perfect for mix and match. Love love her hair. Looks trimmed and more volume. Little tot in the video is quite impressed with our First Lady.
Love the look in her eyes, she's like a little reporter already (smile).

Congratulations on the award, FLOTUS! Loved your speech to the young people. It was an appropriate speech for this audience and they all looked so cute as you were delivering it.

Love your hair and makeup. I like that you are mixing items in your wardrobe. That sweater is so versatile.

Keep doing your great work for our young people. You are truly their advocate.

Mrs Obama just makes my heart skip with joy. She exudes such warmth. I LOVE her so much.

Monday, March 29, 2010 at 9:20 PM | Registered CommenterEleroy

The sweater cost nearly $1000. I would think she'd wear it more than once. And remember, she also has one in a violet pink.

Monday, March 29, 2010 at 11:16 PM | Unregistered CommenterBeeGee

She looks great in just about anything.

Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 1:38 PM | Unregistered CommenterAngela

And what is your point, BeeGee?

Would you kindly explain exactly what you mean?

Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 7:14 PM | Registered CommenterBevi

BeeGee is so full of it. Passive aggressive with the occasional kick of cattiness & outright crappy meanspiritedness - that's her spiel. She clearly despises Mrs Obama but she remains here constantly, negatively commenting away on a site dedicated to Mrs Obama while Mrs Obama, who will forever be part of positive American & World history by the way, is busy living a GLORIOUS life.

The POWER of Michelle Obama - She practically OWNS space in the heads of the BeeGee's & Hyde Parker's of the world. LOL!

good question Bevi. i would also want to know . i stopped reading her comments a long time ago because they always come across as condescending and patronizing.who cares how much her cardis cost or how much of them she owns? she was earning a six figures salary at her previous job and if she feels the needs to buy an outfit that cost as much as the prize of a house, it is her damn prerogative.she has worked hard her entire life and she is just reaping the fruits of her hard work.she doesn't owe anyone any explanations and she shouldn't live like a poor woman just to placate some jealous and envious people.her money, her business.

i just drop by to bemoan the fact there weren't any pictures of Mrs.O and Mrs.Sarkozy but i can see why.

Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 8:28 PM | Registered Commenterchrystelle

Some seem destined to misinterpret everything I post. Up the thread there were some comments about her wearing again something she had worn before - as a "recessionista". My only thought was that any woman would rewear a $900+ sweater that she liked so well that she had bought it in two colorways, recession or no.

There is no malice here. Just an observation. A comment. Relax.

Chrystelle-

There's video of Mrs.O's remarks from the forum in the link below. That Moschino broach is so darn versatile and I love the graphic black/white skirt suit with the peach shirt underneath for a pop of color. Lovely!
