Double Dutch

P071511PS-0556 P071511CK-0303

Official White House Photos by Chuck Kennedy

The Obamas are currently enjoying a weeklong holiday on Martha's Vineyard. While they're away, we can enjoy these White House Flickr Photos, taken July 15 during a taping for the Presidential Active Lifestyle Award challenge and Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play on the South Lawn of the White House.

Showing off her Double Dutch skills, Mrs. O wears an of-the-moment red and navy stripe sweater, paired with slim black pants and red flats. Cute!

I continue to wish our First Lady well and pray for strength and health. One of the best accessories we can wear is a good disposition, and a little fun and laughter goes a very long way. I hope that everyone takes some time for fun, laughter and rest. We are almost in a new season ... Fall is around the corner.

Glad for Mrs. O that she has had a sustained period of downtime with her family. No one deserves more. I love her.

When you look at everyone, it's hard to tell who's having more fun....the kids or our Michelle. Our President still gets a kick out of her and that's so precious.
Here's to healthy living!

Absolutely lovely! This woman/First Lady is in a class all by herself. ...She has completely shattered (Thank God!) the heavily "starched" and "pressed" persona and aura that has hemmed in most first ladies. Seeing this photo brought back the memory of that double-dutch song: "Izza-Kizza-Izza...Get on the bus / pay your fare / and tell the driver that you're going to the double-dutch affair..." *roaring laughter!*

I believe that the red and navy striped sweater she has on here is from H&M, early summer 2011. so cute!

I commented on Monday, but it didn't show. The sweater she has on is definitely from H&M - I know because I own it! It's orange and navy.

You can see the President just egging her on, and the by-standers are in on it too : - ) Go Michelle! Go Michelle! She is so real even a photo can't help but capture her naturalness. She really does move, it is not just a slogan.
