Mrs. O on The Tonight Show
Monday, August 13, 2012 at 7:32 PM The First Lady will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno at 11:35PM EST on NBC this evening. For the appearance, Mrs. O wears a yellow floral dress with a sheer inset and metallic belt.
Update: The First Lady wears Bibhu Mohapatra as confirmed by the designer on Twitter (thanks njmrso for the tip!).

How very, very odd a combination of sheer, metallic, and floral, and not at all attractive.

Loved seeing and hearing from our FLOTUS and the fantastic Gabby....the interviews, looks, etc. are fabulous, but the Romney commercial leading in...not so good. :( Obama 2012...thanks for all of your wonderful work Mrs. T
What a great moment. I am staying up to watch the show. Our first lady is a strong black woman ( a great role model) and Gabby did a great job representing our country. I am glad they both got to meet. What a great moment.

I love when Mrs. O is on the late night shows!! She was fantastic!! She is so real and down to earth. I know people say it all the time, but it's true! I smiled the whole time I was watching and I was smiling so hard, I shook my head at my own self. I feel like a lame liking these people as much as I do, but there's nothing I can do about it. I LOVE THEM! Point blank. period.
Mrs. O's dress is lovely. When she walked in you can see that it has asymmetrical layers(?) At first I wasn't to sure about the belt, but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it. The pairing symbolically describes Michelle. Soft and feminine, but tough as nails at the same time.
Hope you guys got a chance to see the whole interview. It was wonderful!!

I would like to see a full pic of the dress. However, I just saw a stylist on the Today show and she said floral dresses can look matronly and it is good to mix them up with metals as FLOTUS has done. Me Likey.

Love the dress. Probably could have lived without the belt here (though I love the belt). Maybe silver shoes would have done the trick. But, as always, she was charming and irresistible.
I like the dress, I didn't at first, but I think it is lovely. Mrs O is at ease in front of the camera and she has a good sense of humour.
